HOW DOES PEELO WORK?
Beeswax, resin, jojoba and coconut oil are all natural preservatives. They will keep your food fresh without steaming - thanks to the cotton used, the packaging is breathable and wicks away moisture. Peelo is malleable, just use the heat of your hands and it will adapt to any shape of food or bowl.
HOW LONG WILL THE PACKAGING LAST FOR ME?
With proper care, Peelo can last you up to 1 year. The stickiness will go away slightly over time, but it will still keep the food fresh.
DOES PEELO GET COLORED FROM FOOD?
Certain crops such as beetroot, strawberries or even various sauces can color the packaging, and this is why Peelo acquires a colorful patina over time. However, if you want to keep it as clean as possible, wash it as soon as possible after use, but always only in cold or lukewarm water, or put raw materials with strong pigment in a bowl and cover it.
WHICH FOODS TO AVOID?
Be especially careful with raw meat - if you need to wrap it, put it in a bowl and cover it with a wax napkin. In addition, Peelo may not be able to tolerate fruits that have a higher acidity, such as pineapple.
DOES PEELO CHANGE PROPERTIES AT DIFFERENT TEMPERATURES?
Definitely yes! Natural raw materials naturally adapt to their surroundings. Peelo will feel different depending on whether you have just taken it out of the drawer or the fridge. However, beware of one thing. Beeswax melts at a temperature of 60 degrees, and even if the mercury of the thermometer at home probably does not rise to such a temperature, any strong source of heat, direct sunlight, microwave and dishwasher can damage it. Tried for you - not recommended :).
WHY DOES MY PACKAGING HAVE AN UNEVEN SURFACE OR COLOR?
Peelo is handmade purely from natural ingredients and that is the answer to both questions. The color of both beeswax and resin can vary depending on various factors, and in addition, the resin contains natural impurities, which are not harmful to health in any way. We thoroughly filter our wax mixture before wrapping the fabric in it, but it may happen that a piece of nature has sneaked right into your wrap. Don't be afraid and use the packaging calmly, it will definitely not bite you.
WHAT ABOUT MY PACKAGING WHEN IT IS NO LONGER STICK AND LOOKS SAD?
Over time, the sticky wax layer wears out and gradually changes its properties through frequent washing. If you see that the wax has started to break a little, definitely don't throw away the Peelo just yet! You can easily return it to its original form at home.
Just turn on the oven at 65°C, line the tray with baking paper so it doesn't get dirty and stick, and place the Peelo on it. Let it rest in the oven for 3 to 5 minutes until the wax layer melts. Then take Peelo out, grab him by the two side corners and wave him in the air. In a few seconds it will be almost like new.
WHAT ABOUT THE WAX WRAP WHEN IT HAS EXPIRED?
When Peelo is really at the end of its life cycle, you can cut it into small pieces and throw it in the compost or in longer strips and use it as kindling for the fire in the fireplace or on the barbecue.
HOW DO I KNOW IF YOU WILL STILL STOCK OUT OF STOCK PATTERNS OR PRODUCTS?
We make some designs in limited quantities, others will stay with us longer. If we are currently out of stock of the one you have chosen, please email us at info@peelo.store and we will let you know if we still plan to continue making it.
WHERE IS PEELO MADE?
We completely design and handcraft wax packaging in our small workshop in Bratislava. No import halfway around the world, but an honest Slovak product.
IS PEELO SAFE TO USE ON FOOD?
Of course! In order to have it in black and white, we had our packaging tested in a laboratory. The Public Health Office approved them for us and approved them for direct contact with food.

HOW CAN I PAY WITH YOU?
We accept payments in advance by online payment card, bank transfer, PayPal or cash on delivery. Cash on delivery is charged in the amount of €2.5.
MY ORDER ARRIVED DESTROYED OR INCOMPLETE. WHAT SHOULD I DO?
If you have just unpacked the package and found that something is missing, please send us an e-mail to info@peelo.store with the order number. If the shipment arrived damaged, please send us a photo with a description and we will send you a replacement for the products in both cases.
WHAT SHOULD I DO IF I WANT TO CHANGE THE DATA IN THE ORDER?
If we haven't sent your package yet, write to us at info@peelo.store, and if the shipment is no longer on its way, we will change the information for you without any problems.

Return and exchange
WHAT IF I WANT TO RETURN THE PRODUCTS?
Have you changed your mind? Nothing (although in our opinion you should give the packaging a chance). After receiving the order, you can return unused items within 14 days of delivery and we will refund the amount for the products. However, they must be unused, unwrapped and in their original condition.
WHAT IF I ORDERED A DIFFERENT PACKAGE OR PATTERN THAN I WANTED?
Write to us at info@peelo.store and we will figure out how to exchange the product for you as quickly as possible.
HOW LONG DOES IT TAKE TO REFUND ME FOR RETURNED PRODUCTS?
Sometimes it can take up to 21 days for the package to get back to us. As soon as we receive it, we will contact you and agree on the next course of action.
